About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at the Utah Hotel. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to our guests' satisfaction. You will work closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure that all meals are prepared and served in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role. Ultimately, you will play a key role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients
• Ability to follow recipes and menu specifications
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary degree or certification
• Experience working in a hotel or restaurant setting
• Knowledge of various dietary restrictions and requirements
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications
• Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to develop new menu items
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Skills:

As a Line Cook, you will utilize your cooking skills and knowledge of ingredients to prepare high-quality dishes that meet our guests' expectations. You will also need to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and follow recipes and menu specifications to ensure consistency in our dishes. Work Environment:

Fast-paced hotel kitchen with moderate to high noise levels during peak hours. The work area is busy, with multiple cooking stations, preparation areas, and team members moving quickly. You will be exposed to varying temperatures, including hot equipment and open flames, and must adhere to strict safety and cleanliness standards. The kitchen is dynamic and requires teamwork, focus, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
